Narconon Canada

First established in 1971, Narconon Canada opened a street program in Toronto in 1972, incorporated as a Federally Registered Charity. Narconon Canada also worked with prison populations in British Columbia. Narconon Montreal opened outpatient and drug education services in 1997.

Narconon Montreal moved into its new facility last November and after one month doubled the number of people it was helping end their addiction to drugs.

This Narconon center is located on 10 acres of land east of Montreal, Canada. With 7 buildings and 130 beds, Narconon Montreal is now one of the largest residential drug rehabilitation facilities in Canada.

Here are success stories from two Narconon Montreal students who, like many Narconon graduates, tried numerous programs before achieving a new life without drugs through the Narconon program.

One person who had been in 14 other programs before Narconon, said: “I’ve learned to be in touch with others. At Narconon, they did not just tell me what’s wrong (like it’s my parents or something.) And, I wasn’t able to talk to people easily like I’m doing now.”

Another person (who had tried three times to get off drugs with another drug rehab program) said this: “I’m happier – a lot happier. I focus and concentrate while I’m talking to people. This is the longest I’ve been clean in the last eight years and I haven’t had one urge to go out and use drugs.”
