In Australia the non-residential seminar-style voluntary withdrawal Narconon^® program, called “Get Off Drugs Naturally,” has been running successfully since 1997 in Melbourne. Students in withdrawal along with a supportive family member or friend are instructed in how to effectively get off drugs with nutritional supplements and other Narconon procedures. This seminar program is being used also by members of the Australian aboriginal community to help street youth and others in trouble safely withdraw from drugs without the use of substitute drugs.
