The world’s largest Scientology Life Improvement Centre opened to the sounds of traditional African music on March 26, 2010, as one thousand university students, community and government leaders, artists and local Scientologists crowded Station Street in Johannesburg for the dedication celebration. Addressing those in attendance were distinguished representatives of the district police and National Parliament, as well as the daughter of the South African President. The building—located in the Braamfontein district—is the largest such centre in the world, and heralds a brighter future and cultural renaissance for South Africa.
