January 22, 1996: COURT RULES FOR COPYRIGHT PROTECTION ON INTERNET

ALEXANDRIA, VA. -- In an internationally watched court case, the Church of Scientology scored a major victory for copyright protection on the Internet. This federal court decision sets legal precedent for copyright enforcement and the application of free speech rights to copyrighted material on the Internet.
