SCIENTOLOGY VOLUNTEER MINISTERS OF INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA
Since opening its doors 4 years ago, the Church of Scientology of Inglewood, California has been making community outreach a top priority through its Scientology Volunteer Minister program.
“Our Volunteer Ministers are caring and dedicated people who are here to help,” said Ms. Caroline Percy, Executive Director of the Inglewood Church. “Because they are trained in techniques from the Scientology Handbook, their help is effective,” she went on to say. “How can you measure the value of sorting out a relationship, helping a family stay together, or giving young people tools that lets them control their own education? When you see what a difference these volunteers make in people’s lives you understand why we make these services available to as many people as possible.”
The Church’s Volunteer Ministers are a regular feature at community events, such as the Black Business Expo, African Market Place, Black College Expo, Market Street Festival, and the Compton Air Show. At the recent Martin Luther King, Jr. Festival at Leimert Park, Scientology Volunteer Ministers performed free stress tests and provided one-on-one help to hundreds of people throughout the day.
“People want to help,” said Ms. Percy. “When they find out how effective Scientology technology is, they want to learn it and we make Scientology Volunteer Minister training available to anyone of any faith.”
The Church of Scientology of Inglewood is located at 130 South Market Street, between Manchester and Queen. For more information on the services they offer e-mail them at Inglewood@scientology.net or call (310) 680-9622.
