The Church's views on Human Rights, Psychiatry and Psychiatric violations of Human Rights

The Scientology religion is founded in a belief in human dignity and human rights.

By our own creed:

“We of the Church believe:

“That all men of whatever race, color, or creed were created with equal rights;”

We support programs which promote and protect the human rights of all men and women and decry the violation of human rights in all forms.

For more information on Scientology human rights programs visit the human rights section of our web site.

We support the work of Youth for Human Rights International in its campaign to mandate that all governments uphold the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and require human rights education.

We oppose psychiatric violations of human rights and are proud to have founded and support the Citizens Commission on Human Rights.
