SCIENTOLOGY VOLUNTEER MINISTERS GOODWILL TOUR IN BOTSWANA
As reported this week in the Botswana Sunday Standard, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers African Goodwill Tour is making a real difference to the people of Botswana.
The article states: “In Pandamatenga, villagers reported to be turning their backs on local bars and making a bee line for the yellow hut. Village Councillor Tenganyano Tuelo says a former village bar has even closed down and is being refurbished into a fresh produce (shop).”
Idah Misika, a Minister of the Saint John Apostolic Faith Mission of Botswana at Pandamatenga is quoted as saying: “We are happy for the love you showed us and the comparison between the building of the bars and churches, the bars are thriving and not the churches. Now that this is clear to us, we can change this condition.”
She is joined in her praise of the Volunteer Ministers program by the Pandamatenga Police Station Commander, Ronal Molefi, who wrote: “Your lectures were indeed fruitful and important to us and the organization at large.”
And this is also reflected in the statement of Mrs. C.K. Kufigwa, of the Botswana Unified Revenue Service Customs and Excise Division, who says “through their literature the problems we used to have, have been resolved amicably by applying Scientology technology. Let me not forget to thank our hero Mr. L. Ron Hubbard who through his literature has helped many in the world by freeing them from the shadows that darken their days. Indeed through his technology many are able to attain long cherished dreams of happiness and spiritual freedom.”
