Due to its rapidly growing ministry, the Church decided to purchase new premises located at the hub of the diverse communities in the region. As the Church’s roots in the city date from more than 30 years ago, however, it has retained its Los Gatos name even though its new building is located in San Jose.
Executive Director of the Church, Lyn Hoffman, welcomed all attendees, saying “this moment is truly yours as well as ours.”
In turn, City Councilman for Campbell, Mr. Matthew Dean, welcomed the Church, and offered a thank you for “all you have done and for what you will do for all humanity through Mr. Hubbard’s wisdom.”

Nedra Jones, NAACP Executive Committee Member for the Silicon Valley, told how a fortunate encounter with a Scientologist helped her to make a stand against injustices to children and families. “It takes people of conscience like yourselves standing together to make this world a better place, ” she said.
After the ribbon was cut, one thousand people toured the new Church to learn about the services it offers to the community.
The doors of the Church are open daily between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm and visitors are welcome.
