Fire Station #1 in Clearwater, Florida, receives a $3000 donation for uniforms for a newly formed Firefighters Honor Guard. The donations were raised by local Volunteer Ministers.

In July 2002 in Arizona and Colorado, Volunteer Ministers assisted residents evacuated from their homes in the face of the brush fires. The Volunteer Ministers helped the firefighters with logistics and provided spiritual assistance to residents affected by the disasters.

Seattle Scientology Volunteer Ministers are certified as Police Chaplains.
