Scientology Missions in Italy a Picture of Expansion
To the Scientologist, missionary work is more than a question of carrying a message of hope (and real, practical solutions) to far off lands.
To the Scientologist, missionary work can be right there in his own back yard his city, his town, his community. If Scientology and Dianetics are not already well established in that city, it is pioneer territory. So Missions will be found everywhere, including the major cities of the West and East and the established countries of the world.
Italy as an example is a country that started out, not many years ago, with two or three Missions. Today, Scientology Missions are located in over 50 cities, from Milano in the north all the way to Cosenza in the south, and including Ragusa on the island of Sicily.

One of the most recent Missions to open here is in Piacenza near the city of Brescia. Opened by Lorenzo Zambelli, this Mission, like many others, expanded from a Dianetics group.
