While Scientologists see the need to make Dianetics and Scientology technology available to any community, nowhere is that need greater than in major trouble spots of the world such as Pakistan.
While Dianetics counselling can bring greater sanity into the life of an individual, its principles can also bring sanity to groups. Situations of social conflict can be resolved with Dianetics, not to mention its ability to relieve the traumas inflicted upon individuals and families by the effects of war and terrorism.
Responding to the need in pakistan, a second Dianetics Centre has been opened in Karachi, to expand the availability of Dianetics in this area. To this end the staff of the centre assisted in the translation and recent release of the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health in Urdu, the official language of Pakistan.
In addition to delivery of Dianetics seminars to train people in the use of Dianetics techniques, both of the Dianetics Centres in Karachi have also been doing broad distribution of the booklet entitled The Way To Happiness. This booklet is a nonreligious, common sense moral code written by Mr Hubbard, which promotes among other tenets, brotherhood and respect for the religious beliefs of others.
