Interfaith Press Conference in Anaheim, California March 4, 2003

The Church of Scientology International and the Interfaith community are outraged by these senseless acts of violence.

Hatemongers among us, inciting religious intolerance and bigotry, is NOT what America is about.

We MUST hold responsible those who continue the anti-Muslim rhetoric and who thus create a climate of hatred against our own citizens instead of targeting the real enemies.

While the FBI brings the perpetrators to justice, we as Americans must take effective action to bring an end to the climate of hate that spawns such brutality.

This is only achieved through more communication, not less. And that leads to better understanding so we come to respect and celebrate the diversity which makes America strong.
