Statements have recently appeared that Reed Slatkin is an ordained minister in the Scientology religion. However, he has not practiced as a minister of any Church of Scientology since 1983. As demonstrated by his recent guilty plea to multiple felonies of mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering and obstruction of justice, Mr. Slatkin has abused his position of trust to prey on his fellow members of the Church and has caused them and numerous other investors great harm.

His unethical conduct is not only unbecoming of a Scientologist let alone a minister, but violates the basic policies and core ethics codes of the Church.

Therefore, due to his severe violations of the Church’s moral and ethical standards, Reed Slatkin’s ministerial status has been revoked and he has been excommunicated.
