SCIENTOLOGY VOLUNTEER MINISTERS TRAIN BRAZILIAN OFFICIALS

In Salvador, Brazil, 40 military policemen at the El Encino Police Academy have begun communication classes provided by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour. Once completed, they will take on teaching these techniques, developed by L. Ron Hubbard, to their fellow officers.

When he heard how much other police had benefited from learning these skills, the director of training at the Academy was the first to sign up for classes himself.

CARNIVAL

The famous annual Brazilian Carnival starts on February 23rd and Civil Defense of Salvador has the responsibility for coordinating all emergency services during the holiday festivities.

This year Civil Defense will have new skills to help them. They are training as Scientology Volunteer Ministers, to better assist the police, firemen and paramedics cope with the tens of thousands of people coming to celebrate in their city.
